My Pastor and Husband both thought I would not stay with the Lord, But I know what is right, and what was happening. I think alot of my struggle I had was with my Mom, she said things to me that made me think and in turn I found I was explaining why it happened the way it did, and that he would now be ok.

Then I got on the net and wanted to find a site that I could learn about woman in the bible, I was not able to get alot of teaching in the church that I was in due to it being in spanish and I only knew english. But I found this site that said "Would you like to learn and join a Women's bible study group to learn about the women in the bible". So of course I checked it out and not only was there a Wonderful woman that was sharing her thoughts on this but sooooo many other women as well. So I began to learn and learn, she had me so fired up with the Lord, that I could of went dancing in the streets, instead I did at church and with the Ladies at church, to which fired them up. The Road To Success Is Not Straight
There Is A Curve Called Failure
A Loop Called Confusion

Red Lights Called Enemies
Caution Lights Called Family
You Will Have Flats Called Jobs

But . . .

If You Have A Spare Called Determination
An Engine Called Perseverance
Insurance Called Faith...
You Will Have A Driver Named Jesus!

"When you grow restless you will throw his yoke from off your neck,
Just let go!" Your "F-R-O-G" shall set you free.
F=Firmly

R=Relying

Praying Out Loud To God

Have you ever felt Loss for Words especially when it comes to praying? I know I have especially when I get around my husband. :) He prays so beautifully, he uses the word always. You know most of us women have no trouble communicating. I have seen studies that indicate women speak twice as many words as men. So why do we women sometimes have difficulty praying out loud, particularly in front of others? It would seem that conversing with God often leaves women at a loss for words.

While there is a willingness to pray, some women choose to remain silent allowing the “more eloquent” individuals to address God and of course this sometimes is me. God never values one person "or their prayer" above another. We are, however, given guidelines that guarantee any women’s prayer will be priceless before God. Amen!!

Express your love and appreciation for God’s power Psalm 18:1–6. I begin by thanking God for all things. Make your “conversation” a joyful attitude towards others My loved ones, Let us have love for one another: because love is of God, and everyone who has love is a child of God and has knowledge of God.
He who has no love has no knowledge of God, because God is love.

1 John 4:7–8. A self-righteous attitude stops prayer dead in its tracks! It’s still gossip when you share the “juicy details” with others in the name of prayer. Pray with a compassionate heart and watch God breathe joy into your words.

Trust God to hear every precious word you utter, allowing His peace to envelop you The man whose heart is unmoved you will keep in peace, because his hope is in you.
Let your hope be in the Lord for ever: for the Lord Jah is an unchanging Rock.
Isaiah 26:3–4.

Each prayer comes to life when we speak with assurance, free from worry, having peace that surpasses all human understanding.
We have to remember it’s Not About Me~You, when we understand the importance of attitude, we can focus next on the priority of our prayers. A woman’s prayer often centers upon how a situation relates to us. All emotions "fluctuating hormones" place the emphasis on our need to establish or preserve a relationship. By changing the “primary object” of any prayer, we women can tap into greater prayer effectiveness.

Prayer requires patience as well as surrendering our rights, So do not give up your hope which will be greatly rewarded.
For, having done what was right in God's eyes, you have need of waiting before his word has effect for you.
Hebrews 10:35–36.
As women, it’s easy to become impatient ~~ with family conflicts, broken friendships, job, ~~ even God. “Doesn’t God know how upset I am?
I lack the composure to deal with all this.” Surrender your time~frame to Him, offering your patience as a prayer of trust.

Pray specifically for the person who irritated you the most today. When we extend unmerited kindness to another it transforms two lives, not just yours. I guarantee you, at the end of the day your kind words and thoughts will free you from any “I wish I hadn’t . . .” guilt. Let all bitter, sharp and angry feeling, and noise, and evil words, be put away from you, with all unkind acts;
And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.
Ephesians 4:31-32.

We women utilize our time by multi-tasking. Yet we still struggle to find time to pray. Knowing that God is merciful, we hope that He’ll excuse us “just one more day.” Does this sound familar? Ultimately, we realize that, if we don’t take time to converse with God on a regular basis, our lives unravels quickly illness, finances, separation.
How then should we pray?

Pray faithfully, seeking the Holy Spirit’s help Ephesians 6:18; Romans 8:26. A few words spoken from the heart speak volumes. God is faithful as we depend on Him daily for answers. Choose a place of rest, free of distractions Matthew 11:28–29. Through those tender moments of communication, we experience the gentleness of a Father-daughter relationship. Expect distractions, but practice self-control, remaining steadfast in prayer 1 Peter 1:13; 5:7–8.
When we will to pray . . . God’s will is done!
When we follow these guidelines, our prayers will always be fruitful Galatians 5:22–23. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, a quiet mind, kind acts, well-doing, faith, Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law.

He's Knockinnnn

God's love has been made known to you and I and now He stands at the door and knocks.
It's up to every one of us to either pursue a personal relationship with God or else reject Him outright. I'm sure you agree with me I could never reject God. Just the thought makes my heart ache. The only barrier between us and God's love is our own freewill and Jesus Christ is the door"Jesus says, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" John 14:6
Salvation is a free gift bought and paid for by the blood of Christ. There is no other way.

"Do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" Galatians 2:21
You can't earn God's forgiveness through good works. How will doing the good works that we should have done all our life make up for the countless times you've failed? God's no fool. You can "use an abundance of soap, the stain of your guilt is still before Me…" Jeremiah 2:22.

A man once fell on his knees before Christ and begged, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Christ, "filled with compassion" replied, "I am willing, be clean" Mark 1:40-41.

We too can fall on our knees and acknowledge God's only provision for our sins. We too can hear, "I am willing, be clean." Christ willingly took God's righteousness upon Himself so that you don't have to.
Whoever accepts His death upon the cross as payment for their sins will be reconciled to the God whom they've offended. "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ…God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them…God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.

Sweet Jesus, I know Your heart is good and that all things that produce fruit come from that very spot. I am on my knees this morning seeking Your heart and patiently waiting for You to pursue me. I acknowledge that You are all~~loving and all~~powerful, and that before You, the angels in heaven bow and the demons in the air flee. I am totally dependent on You, Lord Jesus, for the touch of Your hand on my shoulder and the whisper of Your voice in my ear. Without Your daily Presence I am incapable of making wise choices..
Thank You that no matter what the circumstance I might face today, You stand ready to guide and direct the outcome -- if I will only ask You. Humbly I seek Your Face and ask for an anointing of Your Holy Spirit as I begin my day, praying that all I do will bring honor and glory to You my King.
I know you Love me unconditionally and there is nothing I do that I know you won't forgive me for, But Lord I pray that I will walk your walk and talk your talk today and always. Thank you for Loving me, I Love YOU!

Attitude~~Mind

What we think and believe will inevitably come out in our actions. In one-way or another a negative attitude can make or break a relationship. The power of your mind is a strong force and can be used to do good with or can be used to do damage with.
What do you watch on TV?
Who do you hang out with in your spare time?
What kind of people do you work with on any given day?

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22,23

What happens when we watch inspirational and meaningful programs on television?
We walk away feeling good and having a good outlook on life. Can I get a AMEN?!
We literally become inspired. But what happens when we watch horrific or violent images and hear negative and destructive programs on television? It gives us the opposite effect, doesn't it? We may feel depressed, sad, lonely, or angry watching these negative programs on a daily basis. It may even give us nightmares during the night, making us feel tired and grouchy in the morning.

In the same way, the people we associate with could be steering us away from God rather than to God. As believers our minds absolutely need a daily dose of spiritual wisdom and guidance to help us get through the day. Many people we interact with through the day may use foul language, or boast unkind words about each other, and they may have a bad attitude toward life in general. This is not what our minds need to see and hear every day.

We need to observe and choose the right road!

We should affirm our Christ centered beliefs every day with daily devotions and prayer. Keep our focus always on Christ and take Him with us when we leave the house. When we go to work and when we are around people who cannot control their tongues and bad attitudes, we can be the salt of the earth and the light on the mountaintop for them!

Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:5

How can we have a Christ like attitude when we get all stressed out because the boss gave us a heavy load, or there is too much office politics between co-workers, or there is favoritism going on with the manager?
Don't let yourself become a part of it!

Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith. 1 John 5:4

As Christ followers we are not to be a part of this world. We should not intermingle within the worldly behaviors and attitudes of unbelievers. Don't let the world tell us who we are - let God tell you us who we are. We must learn to affirm in our heart and mind who we are and what we believe through what we know to be true.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. 1 Corinthians 3:19

I don't believe, that no matter how hard we tried, we could ever have the same attitude as Jesus, but at least we have an example to follow, so that when we are
in the world among unbelievers we can be the affirmation for Jesus Christ.
Jesus' attitude was a humble one and He walked the earth serving others.
We should try and follow that attitude to the best of our ability.
To serve others is not to be like them but to be different and stand
out as an example of virtue and principles.

Isn't that following Jesus Christ?

Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened. But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:14,15
