It's one year since I started blogging, so I guess it's my BlogAversary! Thanks to all my blogging FRIENDS for your support and All those kind words over this past year, for taking time out for me sharing and caring being such Wonderful Inspirations! After going through the loss of my brother I truly was struggling with everything. My Pastor and Husband both thought I would not stay with the Lord, But I know what is right, and what was happening. I think alot of my struggle I had was with my Mom, she said things to me that made me think and in turn I found I was explaining why it happened the way it did, and that he would now be ok.

Then I got on the net and wanted to find a site that I could learn about woman in the bible, I was not able to get alot of teaching in the church that I was in due to it being in spanish and I only knew english. But I found this site that said "Would you like to learn and join a Women's bible study group to learn about the women in the bible". So of course I checked it out and not only was there a Wonderful woman that was sharing her thoughts on this but sooooo many other women as well. So I began to learn and learn, she had me so fired up with the Lord, that I could of went dancing in the streets, instead I did at church and with the Ladies at church, to which fired them up. If you have never been and visited her site I highly recommend that you do "Rachel Olsen" http://rachelolsen.blogspot.com/ I pray that oneday she will start up the Bible Study again, I will look forward to it and I know You will too.

Praying Out Loud To God

Have you ever felt Loss for Words especially when it comes to praying? I know I have especially when I get around my husband. :) He prays so beautifully, he uses the word always. You know most of us women have no trouble communicating. I have seen studies that indicate women speak twice as many words as men. So why do we women sometimes have difficulty praying out loud, particularly in front of others? It would seem that conversing with God often leaves women at a loss for words.

While there is a willingness to pray, some women choose to remain silent allowing the “more eloquent” individuals to address God and of course this sometimes is me. God never values one person "or their prayer" above another. We are, however, given guidelines that guarantee any women’s prayer will be priceless before God. Amen!!

Express your love and appreciation for God’s power Psalm 18:1–6. I begin by thanking God for all things. Make your “conversation” a joyful attitude towards others My loved ones, Let us have love for one another: because love is of God, and everyone who has love is a child of God and has knowledge of God.
He who has no love has no knowledge of God, because God is love.

1 John 4:7–8. A self-righteous attitude stops prayer dead in its tracks! It’s still gossip when you share the “juicy details” with others in the name of prayer. Pray with a compassionate heart and watch God breathe joy into your words.

Trust God to hear every precious word you utter, allowing His peace to envelop you The man whose heart is unmoved you will keep in peace, because his hope is in you.
Let your hope be in the Lord for ever: for the Lord Jah is an unchanging Rock.
Isaiah 26:3–4.

Each prayer comes to life when we speak with assurance, free from worry, having peace that surpasses all human understanding.
We have to remember it’s Not About Me~You, when we understand the importance of attitude, we can focus next on the priority of our prayers. A woman’s prayer often centers upon how a situation relates to us. All emotions "fluctuating hormones" place the emphasis on our need to establish or preserve a relationship. By changing the “primary object” of any prayer, we women can tap into greater prayer effectiveness.

Prayer requires patience as well as surrendering our rights, So do not give up your hope which will be greatly rewarded.
For, having done what was right in God's eyes, you have need of waiting before his word has effect for you.
Hebrews 10:35–36.
As women, it’s easy to become impatient ~~ with family conflicts, broken friendships, job, ~~ even God. “Doesn’t God know how upset I am?
I lack the composure to deal with all this.” Surrender your time~frame to Him, offering your patience as a prayer of trust.

Pray specifically for the person who irritated you the most today. When we extend unmerited kindness to another it transforms two lives, not just yours. I guarantee you, at the end of the day your kind words and thoughts will free you from any “I wish I hadn’t . . .” guilt. Let all bitter, sharp and angry feeling, and noise, and evil words, be put away from you, with all unkind acts;
And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.
Ephesians 4:31-32.

We women utilize our time by multi-tasking. Yet we still struggle to find time to pray. Knowing that God is merciful, we hope that He’ll excuse us “just one more day.” Does this sound familar? Ultimately, we realize that, if we don’t take time to converse with God on a regular basis, our lives unravels quickly illness, finances, separation.
How then should we pray?

Pray faithfully, seeking the Holy Spirit’s help Ephesians 6:18; Romans 8:26. A few words spoken from the heart speak volumes. God is faithful as we depend on Him daily for answers. Choose a place of rest, free of distractions Matthew 11:28–29. Through those tender moments of communication, we experience the gentleness of a Father-daughter relationship. Expect distractions, but practice self-control, remaining steadfast in prayer 1 Peter 1:13; 5:7–8.
When we will to pray . . . God’s will is done!
When we follow these guidelines, our prayers will always be fruitful Galatians 5:22–23. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, a quiet mind, kind acts, well-doing, faith, Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law.

He's Knockinnnn

God's love has been made known to you and I and now He stands at the door and knocks.
It's up to every one of us to either pursue a personal relationship with God or else reject Him outright. I'm sure you agree with me I could never reject God. Just the thought makes my heart ache. The only barrier between us and God's love is our own freewill and Jesus Christ is the door"Jesus says, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" John 14:6
Salvation is a free gift bought and paid for by the blood of Christ. There is no other way.

"Do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" Galatians 2:21
You can't earn God's forgiveness through good works. How will doing the good works that we should have done all our life make up for the countless times you've failed? God's no fool. You can "use an abundance of soap, the stain of your guilt is still before Me…" Jeremiah 2:22.

A man once fell on his knees before Christ and begged, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Christ, "filled with compassion" replied, "I am willing, be clean" Mark 1:40-41.

We too can fall on our knees and acknowledge God's only provision for our sins. We too can hear, "I am willing, be clean." Christ willingly took God's righteousness upon Himself so that you don't have to.
Whoever accepts His death upon the cross as payment for their sins will be reconciled to the God whom they've offended. "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ…God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them…God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God" 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.

Sweet Jesus, I know Your heart is good and that all things that produce fruit come from that very spot. I am on my knees this morning seeking Your heart and patiently waiting for You to pursue me. I acknowledge that You are all~~loving and all~~powerful, and that before You, the angels in heaven bow and the demons in the air flee. I am totally dependent on You, Lord Jesus, for the touch of Your hand on my shoulder and the whisper of Your voice in my ear. Without Your daily Presence I am incapable of making wise choices..
Thank You that no matter what the circumstance I might face today, You stand ready to guide and direct the outcome -- if I will only ask You. Humbly I seek Your Face and ask for an anointing of Your Holy Spirit as I begin my day, praying that all I do will bring honor and glory to You my King.
I know you Love me unconditionally and there is nothing I do that I know you won't forgive me for, But Lord I pray that I will walk your walk and talk your talk today and always. Thank you for Loving me, I Love YOU!

Attitude~~Mind

What we think and believe will inevitably come out in our actions. In one-way or another a negative attitude can make or break a relationship. The power of your mind is a strong force and can be used to do good with or can be used to do damage with.
What do you watch on TV?
Who do you hang out with in your spare time?
What kind of people do you work with on any given day?

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22,23

What happens when we watch inspirational and meaningful programs on television?
We walk away feeling good and having a good outlook on life. Can I get a AMEN?!
We literally become inspired. But what happens when we watch horrific or violent images and hear negative and destructive programs on television? It gives us the opposite effect, doesn't it? We may feel depressed, sad, lonely, or angry watching these negative programs on a daily basis. It may even give us nightmares during the night, making us feel tired and grouchy in the morning.

In the same way, the people we associate with could be steering us away from God rather than to God. As believers our minds absolutely need a daily dose of spiritual wisdom and guidance to help us get through the day. Many people we interact with through the day may use foul language, or boast unkind words about each other, and they may have a bad attitude toward life in general. This is not what our minds need to see and hear every day.

We need to observe and choose the right road!

We should affirm our Christ centered beliefs every day with daily devotions and prayer. Keep our focus always on Christ and take Him with us when we leave the house. When we go to work and when we are around people who cannot control their tongues and bad attitudes, we can be the salt of the earth and the light on the mountaintop for them!

Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:5

How can we have a Christ like attitude when we get all stressed out because the boss gave us a heavy load, or there is too much office politics between co-workers, or there is favoritism going on with the manager?
Don't let yourself become a part of it!

Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith. 1 John 5:4

As Christ followers we are not to be a part of this world. We should not intermingle within the worldly behaviors and attitudes of unbelievers. Don't let the world tell us who we are - let God tell you us who we are. We must learn to affirm in our heart and mind who we are and what we believe through what we know to be true.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. 1 Corinthians 3:19

I don't believe, that no matter how hard we tried, we could ever have the same attitude as Jesus, but at least we have an example to follow, so that when we are
in the world among unbelievers we can be the affirmation for Jesus Christ.
Jesus' attitude was a humble one and He walked the earth serving others.
We should try and follow that attitude to the best of our ability.
To serve others is not to be like them but to be different and stand
out as an example of virtue and principles.

Isn't that following Jesus Christ?

Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened. But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:14,15

Healing With Faith

In Luke chapter 18 we have what we would call a overview of the entire ministry of Jesus. In the beginning of this chapter is the story of the woman and the unjust judge. Someone had done something against her and she had gone to the judge, not unlike many people who are seeking justice today. But this woman soon found that she wasn't getting what she had came for. So she made a decision to pester the living daylights out of the judge until he gave her what she had asked for.

That is what we call "faith that never gives up." It's an attitude. It's a mentality. It's a way of thinking. It's a lifestyle!
With this type of mentality, attitude etc, when we see the word "faith" in the dictionary, our picture should be out beside it!
With this "never give up attitude" this woman wore the judge down until he gave her what she wanted just to get rid of her!

Another similar story about faith that never gives up is found in
Matthew chapter 15. A woman that had a daughter who was possessed by the devil came to Jesus. She wanted her daughter delivered! The disciples told her to go away because she was loud and persistant and wanted to see Jesus. The disciples said go away, Jesus won't see you.

But...because of her persistence, she made it past the disciples to the Master. Jesus said to her, "I wasn't sent to you, but to the lost sheep of the household of Israel." She wasn't a Jew, but a Gentile. Jesus went on to say, "It's not right to take healing and cast it to the dogs." Jesus was comparing this woman with a dog! Most folks would have given up right there and accepted the "religious lie" that God's will for you is to stay sick, bound, etc. If you or I said something like that to someone, we would never be allowed to minister again!

This woman didn't get mad. She understood exactly what Jesus was saying and responded, "But aren't the dogs at the master's table allowed to eat the crumbs that fall to the floor?" This woman knew Jesus was the master, and in her persistance to have her need met, she was actually worshiping Him from the depths of her heart. Jesus was working out of her old nature and getting her over into His faith nature. When Jesus heard her response He said, "O woman, great is your faith!"

Two times in the Bible Jesus refered about people with "great faith." Once to a Gentile woman and once to a Roman centurion. Neither of them was a Jew, or as we would say in our culture today, a member of the house of God! Their faith in what God could do was so great that Jesus could not do anything but respond to their faith and do what they asked of Him.

When the woman persisted, Jesus said "Woman, great is your faith." He healed her daughter. She had faith that never gives up.

If you and I want our prayers answered, we need to have this kind of spirit that this woman had when Jesus healed her daughter. We need to have the kind of spirit like the woman that went before the unjust judge and found justice for her wrong--a spirit that no matter what it takes, we are going to hold on and stand in faith, because the devil is not going to defeat us!

We need to have a faith that never gives up attitude. No matter what we see in the natural, we believe the miracle starts the moment faith is released. We may not see it until next week, next month or even next year, but until we do, we are going to hold on and never give up in Jesus' name!

TT U Gotta See This

FIRST let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful Husband!!!
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name”
Psalm 100:4
I have always known that I married an amazing man, You could call him Mr. Fix It, You can say he is a Jack of all trades. But I have always told him that he is the Love of My Life. I am truly THANKFUL that I have him in my life.
As you can see we have a mess with the lawn mower, Just before Christmas I mowed, Yep I do most of the lawn work, it is great exercise. But when I got done Brad had came out and I had mentioned to him that it sounds like I keep running over metal, well looking at the lawn mower noooooo wonder, hunks of the body was going through the blade. NOT good!! as you can see it just rotted away. I loved this lawn mower it is a self propelled and it helps me cut the lawn, we had a old push mower in the shed so my talented husband got busy after I went back to work and when I came home, waaaaalaaaaa a new mower. He transferred everything from the good mower to the old mower. I now have
this!! It may not be the prettiest(but I don't think it looks to bad)mower but it's propelled. We looked at mowers in the stores and to have a good one they are 400.00 to 600.00 dollars. I Love those big tires in the back, gives it style. Nobody else on our block has one like this. hahahaNow this next picture this is our front porch, a friend of ours had pulled this wood flooring out of another hose that they were remodeling, it kinda looked like the house may had been on fire. So anyways we brought the wood home and Mr. Brad got to work sanding and polyurethane them. He has installed some he's 1/2 way there. Today he is going to finish, it is absolutely beautiful. We are going to install a ceiling fan, buy a couple of rocking chairs for the porch, it's beautiful don't you think?
This is my hubby :) as you can see he was not ready to pose for the camera, he was sitting taking a break. A break well earned. He loves when he can do things like this for me, he said, "look honey you have a new mower". :) Maybe he will try out the mower when summer comes, hahaha! He's on vacation this week, so he is getting a few house things done, Gotta Love um! I Just got a phone call from him as I was writing this, he was so excited, his boss just called him to say he made driver of the year!! See this is another reason why I am so Thankful!
Blessed, Blessed, Blessed, Look at this car, this is the rental car they gave me while they repair my truckie.
I am so Thankful, thankful for so many things, that has happened in my life and today. Lord, I ask for You to fill Brad & I with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom & understanding. I pray that we will live a life worthy of You Lord & please You in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of You O Lord, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that we may have great endurance & patience and joyfully giving thanks to You Lord who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
God, I come boldly before Your throne of Grace in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, lifting up my husband. I thank You Father, for blessing me with a husband that is faithful and true. A man that loves You, God, and Your wonderful Son, Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He loves you with all of his strength, and all of his mind. He allows nothing to come between his relationship with You, or his family, or separate his love from You or his family. I cover my husband with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and surround him with your protecting angels. Your Words are my Prayers to You on his behalf. Please honor them by keeping my husband in the center of YOUR WILL in all that he does. Thank you for all that You do for him, and especially for honoring this my Prayer. After reading Philippians 1:6, "I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in my husband will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." So knowing that my husband loves you with all his heart, and desires to do Your will first and above all other things, I know that You are in complete control and that Your Will will be done for my husband. Lord , I also pray that You bless the work of my husband's hands. May His labor bring not only favor, success, and prosperity, but great fulfillment as well. Give him faith, strength and a vision for the future so he can rise above any problems he may encounter. His hope is in You Lord. Renew his strength. Help him to soar like eagles, help him to run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31). Help him to excel, but free him from the pressure to do so. I pray that you will be Lord over his work, and may he bring You into every aspect of it. Give him enough confidence in the gifts you have placed in him to be able to seek, find and do good work. Open up doors of opportunity for him that no man can close. Develop his skills so that they grow more valuable with each passing day. Show me what I can do to encourage him. According to Romans 8:28-30, "We know that in all things God works for good to those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God fore-knew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the first born among many Brothers, and those He predestined, he also called; those He called, He also justified, those He justified, He also glorified."
God I pray that You be glorified through my husband as he witnesses to other people; that they may see Your glorious light in him, and that Your kingdom may be here on earth among Your believers. You called my husband for a purpose, and to bring others to know Christ Jesus who died so that we can receive Your love too. We know that the time for Christ's return is So very very soon, and there is So many souls to save before that glorious day comes. I come to You God requesting that You allow my husband to do more for You. You have blessed him with knowledge and insight that will help further Your kingdom on Earth and reach out to Christian believers as well as non-believers. "I pray that this is the confidence that my husband had in You, Jesus, that if he asks anything according to Your will, You hear him, whatever he asks, he knows that he has the petitions that he asked of You." (John 5: 14-15)
I pray that if my husband faces any obstacles he always remembers that God has said that it is "Not by might nor by power, but by My spirit" (Zech 4:6).
I pray that the wonderful Holy Spirit will lead my husband, and that he will feel His presence. Place the full armor of God on my husband, that he may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. I pray he will put on the breastplate of righteousness; gird his waist with truth, and will shoe his feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace, and above all, take the shield of Faith with which he will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I pray that he will take the helmet of salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, Praying always with all prayers in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the Saints.
(Eph 6: 13-18). God, I love my Husband with all my heart, all my mind, and all my soul, I apply the blood of Jesus Christ from the top of his head to the end of his toes, that your angels will watch over him daily.
OOOOOO I pray this in your name, Jesus Christ, Amen!!!
