For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Drifting ??
The Christian life is not always an easy road. Sometimes we get off track. We are to encourage our sisters and brothers in Christ daily so that no one turns away from the living God. Have you been drifting or know someone that maybe in this situation? Just like the movie Cast-away, The ball "Wilson" as it drifts away and we are on the raft, do we drift off like the ball or do we stay on the raft, and stay focused on God. Sin is like when Wilson was drifting away from the raft when we notice the things that we use to do are drifting away we have a tendency to want to leave our secure raft and swim after it. When in all actuality we need to just let it go.
We should examine our faith-life regularly. Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?
2 Corinthians 13:5
If you find yourself drifting away, turn back immediately. See to it, sisters, and brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
Hebrews 3:12-13
We should come to God daily for forgiveness and cleansing. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14
Continue daily seeking the Lord with your whole heart. And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.
I Chronicles 28:9
Stay in the Word of God; Keep studying and learning daily. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.
Proverbs 4:13
Stay in fellowship often with other believers. You can’t make it alone as a Christian. We need the strength and prayers of other believers. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
Hebrews 10:25
Stand firm in your faith. Expect difficult times in your Christian life. All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Matthew 10:22
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
Persevere~~ Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
1 Timothy 4:15-17
Run the race to win. Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only ONE gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training ... We do it to get a crown that will last forever.
1 Corinthians 9: 24-25
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness...
2 Timothy 4:7-8
Remind yourself of what God has done for you in the past. Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.
Hebrews 10: 32, 35-39
We are to live our lives as if tomorrow may not come. Because we do not know what tomorrow may bring.
Tom Hanks later said that he had control over nothing. Now Isn't that the truth?
It reminded me of a person who lets go of there own efforts and puts there faith in Jesus Christ.
We must pay greater attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.
Hebrews 2:1
Even as we drift, God calls to us to return.

Do Not Be Afraid
2 Chronicles 20; 15-17
15 He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you."
I read this and found here is a promise that you and I can hold on to when going through difficult circumstances that seem out of our control and overwhelming. There are some battles that we simply can’t fight – and shouldn’t fight in our own strength. Sometimes God tells us to take our positions, stand still and see His deliverance. Sometimes we need to take our hands off, stand back and let God fight for us. AMEN!
We should not fear what come's against us, but we need to stand firm in our faith. God knows the whole situation. Though we feel overwhelmed when we look at our circumstances, the Lord sees the whole picture and sees the way out for us. We need to let God have control and fight the battle we’re facing. He has promised that He is with us and that He will bring us through.
Deuteronomy 31:8
8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
If we are facing battles today that seem overwhelming, We need to give it over to God and let Him fight them for us. He will work it all out, and make a way where it seems there is no way.
Isaiah 43:2
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
It is so awesome to know that he Loves us so much, he is always there, we just need to open the door to our hearts and let him in. What an awesome God!

The tears from my Face
You must know that when I saw this video, I could not stop crying, I felt my self going through what was played here. But I also see ALL of US, going through this, but at the end, when seeing with my eyes Jesus fighting for us, and as always he picks us up, brushes us off, and we start over. "I am crying right now asking, begging for forgiveness from my father" Oh we all make some changes in our lives, but maybe we should just look alittle deeper in our hearts and in our souls, maybe there is just one-thing, one-something.
But he NEVERRRRRR LEAVES US nor Forsakes US, he is always there. He will pick us up, brush us off, HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES YOU SOOOO MUCH.
All we have is our FAITH, I believe the hounds of hell are after every one of us now in one-way or another to lose our faith, to give up, to give in, to walk away from all that we have believed in. I believe we are in the Latter Days, in a sense I feel all hell is breaking loose and things are really being shaken, we must be strong and hang onto our Faith no matter what is going on in our lives. No matter what, God is true to His word, it may not look that way right now in our lives but God is not a man that lies, His Word is Forever settled in Heaven. Again I say HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US, NOR FORSAKE US. The enemy wants us to think that, get our eyes on our circumstances, cave into all our problems, keep us so wrapped up in whats going on around us that we can't see God's answers to our Problems, we can't walk in Faith. We have to remember satan is the Father of Lies, there is NO truth in him so what he tells us is all lies.
Father I ask that you strengthen each of us that may-be going through deep waters or bad battles, let us never give up Lord. You told me Lord many times "My Divine Power will keep thee" , I ask for your grace, mercy and compassion be with us Oh God,encourage those who need your touch, lift them up above their trials, let us speak Words of Life and Declare Your Words as Jesus did as He walked this earth. Your Word is Forever Settled in Heaven, Your Word never returns VOID. Let us not be overcome with the tests and trials we are all facing. Nothing is too difficult for you Lord, the battle is not ours, let us stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord. Your Promises are Yes and Amen. Not one Word of yours has failed. Fill us with the peace that passes ALL understanding, help our unbelief, give me the God kind of Faith, fill us full and overflowing with the JOY of the Lord. You promised Father even in the deep waters you would not let us drown, every hair on our head is numbered. I give you all Praise and Glory Lord, we have a Great Future ahead, no more trials and sorrows, just Joy and Peace and Contentment and spending Eternity with YOU Lord, OOOOOH in Jesus nameee I Pray!!!

Are we facing a Battle Today
2 Chronicles 20: 15 & 17
“Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s ... You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.”
This scripture here is a promise we can hold on to when going through difficult circumstances that seem out of our control and overwhelming. There are some battles that we simply can’t fight – and shouldn’t fight in our own strength. Sometimes God tells us to take our positions, stand still and see His deliverance. Sometimes we need to take our hands off, stand back and let God fight for us.
We needn’t fear what comes against us, but to stand firm in our faith. God knows the whole situation. Though we feel overwhelmed when we look at our circumstances, the Lord sees the whole picture and sees the way out for us. We need to let God have control and fight the battle we’re facing. He has promised that He is with us – and that He will bring us through.
If we are facing a battle today that seems overwhelming, give it over to God and let Him fight it for us. He will work it all out, and make a-way where it seems there is no way.
Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.
