Thankful Thursday :)

First,First,First I again want to Thank God that he exists!! Amen!

Lord, there are marvelous things that I do not know, nor can I comprehend.
Lord, things that happen in my life, and things that happen in my friends lives.
Lord, I desire to be thankful, to appreciate everything that comes across my path.
Lord, so often life hurts, I get angry -- upset, I do not understand, yet Lord You ask me to be thankful for everything, and have faith – Thank You.

Lord, help me to be thankful, when the rains come on the just and the unjust, that You care so much about me, that You build character and godliness in me, to be a mirrored reflection of Your Son to reach others.

Lord, I Thank You for mercy, for the hunger for righteousness, for forgiveness, for purity, for providing for my needs.

Lord, I Thank You for prayer, That I can come before You and call You Father.
That I can cast my burdens on You.
Lord, I Thank You for my heart, the treasure and light You placed in there the Holy Spirit.

Lord, help me to endeavor, to be Thankful for everything.
Lord, it seems most of the time, what happens is about me.
Lord, I Thank you that You gently remind me that the things are not about me, however, my life and what happens is more about You, Your will, and Your Kingdom.

Lord, I Thank You, I praise You. Lord, in You do I find strength and courage to go on.
Lord, I Thank You for the author and finisher of my faith, Jesus Christ and that in You is hope everlasting.

Lord, I Thank You for the blood of Jesus, Your precious lamb.
Thank You Lord God!

In Jesus name, Amen!

Glad Over You

Paul encourages me to continue pressing forward, into the Glory and Presence of God. When everything looks bleak from a physical standpoint, I must know that God is at WORK, preparing me through the Holy Spirit for something much greater, surpassing anything I can presently comprehend.

2 Corinthians 4: 17-18
For our present trouble, which is only for a short time, is working out for us a much greater weight of glory;
While our minds are not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are for a time; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The more time that I spend in the Presence of God, I am assured to receive the Comfort and Strength to face the many trials of life. In Christ, these present discomforts we face, are but a foretaste of the Joy and Peace that we will soon experience.
Moments spent in the Praising and Worship of God, build upon the foundation that is laid by Jesus, and there is nothing else which can SUSTAIN us when the storms come against us.

Through his own life, Paul shares the details of those physical storms that came against him, yet he was never discouraged in the knowledge that God was at WORK, preparing something greater through those times. Just as I know that God is working on me and and I know something great is coming my way.
We also face many obstacles that attempt to hinder our focus of what God is WORKing to accomplish through us, yet we must diligently press forward despite the hardship.

Lord, YOUR Voice speaks loudly of Victory, mine to attain through Christ who refreshes me! As YOU move in the wind that brings change, steer me like a rudder with YOUR Truth I pray!!

Zep. 3:17
The Lord your God is among you, as a strong saviour: he will be glad over you with joy, he will make his love new again, he will make a song of joy over you as in the time of a holy feast.

YOU keep me safe from the snares that are set, with a HOPE that fills my heart and never fails!!!
My weeping will soon be turned to laughter, through my Joyful tears will I see YOU Glorified!
YOU dwell in the hearts of all YOUR people, guiding us by YOUR Everlasing Way of LIFE!

I have to tell you this, this must be confirmation! Because when I did my Thankful thursday, then on Sunday I read this scripture it all coinsides. There is something great coming, Do you believe you have something Great coming?? Wouldn't You like something New and refreshing?

Amen!!!

Thankful Thursday

First and foremost I want to Thank God that he EXISTS !! Amen
If it wasn't for him we would not be where we are today, We wouldn't have the things we have, It is because of him. Lord, I have so much to be thankful for, things unseen and seen, that You have done in my life. Lord, mostly I am thankful for the relationship that I have with You. Lord, You initiated this relationship, by what Your Son endeavored to accomplish, paying the price for my sin, redeeming and reconciling me.
You know the times I have been ungrateful, held ill thoughts toward You and my fellow friends. You know the times I complain and grumble about life and its circumstances, about suffering, going through what seem like endless trials and tribulations.
Yet, God You are and always will be there with me, even when it seems like I am forever in the wilderness, running further and further from You, You, my God are there guiding me back to Your loving arms. And for this I am so greatful/thankful!

Thankful for the decisions that You allow me to make and the lessons that come from these decisions. And You are always by my side.
I’m thankful, Lord, that I do not have to live under condemnation anymore, that You have truly set me free, that I am a new creation that I need not live under the law anymore. Thankful Lord that You have given me joy unspeakable. Thankful Lord that You are longsuffering, allowing me to mature in You!

Lord, words do not express my thankfulness. For Your mighty power is at work in me, transforming me, renewing my mind. Thank You Lord!!

OOHHH Lord I Praise Youuuuuu, I Thank You my Lord!!!!!!!

Faith

There are many types of problems within our families. But the Word addresses them all. Whatever the problem, whatever the need, no matter how great the stress or distress, God has the solution in His Word. His Word is complete. All we as Christians have to do is believe what God's Word says and act on it in faith. Sometimes when our problems arise we forget to pray and or use the Word of God to fight our fight. Amen!!!!

For example, if you have a child who has turned away from a godly life, then believe God's Word where it says in Proverbs 11:21, "The children of the righteous will be delivered." Take that scripture, read it, meditate on it, and act on it in faith without fear. It is true; the children of the righteous will be delivered. I have prayed this over my Step Son, and it works, yes it works. I have seen his my-space go from bloody skulls to a more professional look, He took those awful earrings out of his ears that stretch is lobe, ewww, I have watched him change dramatically.

From the beginning, Satan has deceived mankind. Second Corinthians 11:3 says that in the Garden of Eden, Eve was deceived by the serpent because of Satan’s craftiness. In other words, he was cunning, deceptive and he was a liar.

Jesus said in John 8:44 that Satan is a liar and that there is no truth in him. Today, Satan has not changed and his methods are still the same. When we take the scriptures and stand on them in faith, Satan immediately tries to twist and distort the Word in such a way that it will become ineffective in our lives.

When we say, "The Word says the children of the righteous will be delivered, and I believe it and stand on it in faith," Satan immediately says, "That's right. The Word is true. The children of the righteous will be delivered. But you're not righteous. Remember when you...." And so Satan sows his lie. What he says sounds logical, but it is still a lie.

The truth is, we who have accepted Jesus as there Lord and Savior are righteous. We are not righteous because of anything we have done but because of what He has done. The blood of Jesus removes our sins and we are clean.
It's grace.
It's unmerited favor.
It's a gift of God.

Galatians 2:21 says, “If righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” We cannot do anything to become righteous other than just simply accept Jesus into our hearts. Works will never be good enough.

If Satan can get us to believe we are not righteous, then when we take the Word that says "The children of the righteous will be delivered," we will not believe it applies to us. Without belief there is no faith. Without faith we will not expect results, and we will get what we expect. Nothing! We must believe the truth and act in faith. Then we will be delivered.

Proverbs 20:7 says that the children of the righteous will be blessed. So, not only will our children be delivered, but they will be blessed.

As Christian parents, we must believe what God’s Word says about our children. So, when Satan whispers into your thought realm and says your children will be destroyed, don’t repeat his words.
Remember, he’s a liar. You must do as Jesus did when Satan spoke to him.
Say, “It is written. The children of the righteous will be delivered.”

Remember, God does not lie. What He says He will do, He will do!!!!! What he says will happen, will happen!!!!!
If His Word says the children of the righteous will be delivered and blessed, then they will.
God is not a liar!!!!

GateWay is to the East #2

Jesus Christ will physically return to earth in vengeance on the enemies of God. Known as the “Commander of Heaven’s Armies,” Christ will appear in sky like lightning, and every eye will see Him. His feet will touch down on the Mount of Olives, on the very place from which He ascended, and thus fulfill a prophecy made almost 2,000 years by two angels on the Mount of Olives:

“After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him. As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. ‘Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!’” Acts 1:9-11

When Christ returns, He will enter Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate of the Old City walls. In so doing, He will fulfill not only the prophecy of these two angels, but in-numerable prophecies recorded by God’s prophets for the benefit of mankind.

The Eastern Gate, approximately 2,600 years ago, the prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of the Glory of the Lord:

“After this, the man brought me back around to the east gateway. Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel appeared from the east. The sound of his coming was like the roar of rushing waters, and the whole landscape shone with His glory. This vision was just like the others I had seen, first by the Kebar River and then when he came to destroy Jerusalem. I fell face down on the ground. And the glory of the Lord came into the Temple through the east gateway.” Ezekiel 43:1-4 (NLT)

Ezekiel’s vision was no ordinary vision, for He witnessed nothing less than the Glorious Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ezekiel describes in his vision what Jesus told His disciples when warning them to guard against false prophets who claim the Messiah has arrived – that he is in this place or that place. Jesus tells us not to believe such people, for when He returns, all eyes will see Him simultaneously:

“For as lightning lights up the entire sky, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.” Matthew 24:27

Ezekiel’s vision offers further details of the Lord’s Glorious Appearing:

1) He will appear from the east.
2) The sound of His coming will be like the roar of rushing waters.
3) He will enter the Temple through the eastern gateway.

The fact that the Lord Jesus Christ will once again walk through the Eastern Gate is confirmed in Ezekiel 44:

“Then the man brought me back to the east gateway in the outer wall of the Temple area, but it was closed. And the Lord said to me, “This gate must remain closed; it will never again be opened. No one will ever open it and pass through, for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered here. Therefore, it must always remain shut. Only the prince himself may sit inside this gateway to feast in the Lord’s presence. But he may come and go only through the entry room of the gateway.” Ezekiel 44:1-3

Not only does this passage reiterate certain details of the Lord’s Glorious Appearing, but it offers substantial evidence to the unbeliever that the Bible is the Word of God. Why? Because Ezekiel 44 demonstrates the astounding accuracy of bible prophecy, providing evidence that can verified firsthand by anyone who doubts.

Over 2,600 years ago, the Lord declared the Eastern Gate would be shut and would remain closed until the Messiah arrived to open it. Yet, for almost five hundred years now, it’s been closed. In this generation, the Messiah will open it.
The Eastern Gate is one of eight gates built into the walls which surround the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Eastern Gate provides the only entrance from the East, and it faces the Mount of Olives. The Eastern Gate was destroyed during the Roman conquest of Jerusalem. Fulfilling Christ’s prophecy that “not one stone will be left on top of another” Matthew 24:2. Prior to this, the Eastern Gate had never been sealed.
It’s been over 465 years since Suleiman sealed the Eastern Gate, and despite numerous well-documented attempts to open it, the gate has remained sealed just as the Lord proclaimed to Ezekiel over 2,600 years ago.

So is the sealing of the Eastern Gate merely a coincidence? Or is it a bona fide partially fulfilled bible prophecy, poised for its ultimate fulfillment on the day the Messiah comes to open it? To find the answer, we only need to examine the variousness of Ezekiel’s prophecy and compare them to the historical record. In so doing, we will learn the identity of the Prince who will open the Eastern Gate and what His doing so will mean for the world.

The first question a person might ask is why is the gate closed? In the aforementioned passage, the Lord tells Ezekiel the eastern gate must be closed because, “The Lord, the God of Israel, entered here.” Ezekiel 44:2

“The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted, ‘Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hail to the King of Israel!’ Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said: ‘Don’t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey’s colt.’ His disciples didn’t understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into his glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about him.” John 12:12-16

As this passage states, the triumphant entry of Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled an additional prophecy, one made over 500 years earlier by the prophet Zechariah.

“Rejoice greatly, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey – even on a donkey’s colt.” Zechariah 9:9

This is only one of the numerous Old Testament Messianic prophecies fulfilled in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, but if any doubt exists as to the identity of the rider on the donkey, it should be swept away two verses later when we read of God’s promise to the world.
“Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon.” Zechariah 9:11

Christ sealed this covenant with His blood on the cross not long after His triumphant entrance into Jerusalem. Because of His sacrifice, many have been freed from eternal damnation in hell (death in a waterless dungeon).

Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, the Lamb of God who wipes away the sin of the world. He is the Prince who will “sit inside this gateway to feast in the Lord’s presence” Ezekiel 44:3. Because Jesus blessed the Eastern Gate with His coming, it has been sealed shut. No man, no army, and no person but Jesus Christ Himself can open the Eastern Gate ever again. This is God’s promise.

The fact that the Eastern Gate remains closed to this day is God’s testimony to doubters throughout the world. Some have doubted the Lord until they can see Him with there own eyes and touch the scars on His body, most of the world demands physical evidence for belief. The Eastern Gate is their physical evidence. It is the testimony of Jesus Christ, and soon, it will be the stage on which the Glory of God will be revealed for all the world to see.

Is this not Awesome!

GateWay of Glory

Bible, names aren't just names - they have an underlying meaning or significance. Names often reveal something important about the nature or character of the one named and can even be a prophetic declaration of destiny. The name "Jesus," for example, means "the LORD saves." This is why the angel who foretold his birth said, "You shall call his name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21).

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name." Psalm 100:4

"Go through, go through the gates; clear the way for the people; remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. Isaiah 62:10

Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of Glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Psalms 24:7

The name, Gate Way, combines two words Jesus later used in describing Himself. In John 10:9, he said, "I am the Gate." The Greek word translated gate means "an entrance or passage into."
In this passage, Jesus uses the image of sheep going through a Gate to proclaim that He is the entrance to "green pastures," the place of safety.

In John 14:6, He uses the other part of the name: "I am the way," he proclaimed.
The Greek translation Way is hodos, which means "a traveled road," or "the avenue of a traveler's journey." So Jesus is not only the "Gate" (the entrance), he also is the road on which we travel after entering the gate to reach our full destiny in God.
The name Gateway speaks of the person and work of Christ. He is the Gate and the Way. It also reminds us of our work in the Great Commission to point people towards the Gate of Salvation and enter into a lifetime of walking in the Way of discipleship.

The Bible says
He’s the King of the Jews
He’s the King of Israel
He’s the King of Righteousness
He’s the King of the Ages
He’s the King of Heaven
He’s the King of Glory
He’s the King of Kings
and He is the Lord of Lords
He is the GateWay of Glory!!!!!!!!!

He is MY Prince of Peace............And Whom do You Call Me????

Callous~~Hardened Heart

I started back in working out, I felt it was time for me to
begin my exercise program again, now that I have healed from my surgery.
I was so enthusiastic as I laced my shoes and took off ready to conqueror.
That was, unfortunately, until I began to experience some discomfort on one
my feeties.
Well, no matter, I pressed onward with my stepping walk, enjoying the
book I was reading, trust me when I tell you it is possible to read and work
out on a machine. Before long, it really hurt and I was very aware that
something was wrong. Each step became painful and I started to slow down
as I was coming to the end of the time I had on the machine. It seems the
new walking shoes "$85.00" was not supporting my foot correctly, the ball
on the bottom of my foot felt like something was broken in there. Then because
I decided to hold my foot differently I got a blister, but I didn't want to quit. So I got me a bandaid and rolled up some toilet paper and put it on the raw spot.. No laughing at the toilet paper now, hahaha. I thought that should be plenty of protection, and went on my way. This added protection and it did help numb the pain, I couldn't feel it quite so much. I went to the drug store and bought those inserts, and it has comforted the spot on my foot, But the blister still kept bothering me a bit, and I noticed it was turning hard and callused. I realized the other day it stop hurting and I wasn't feeling anything from it. "Praise God".

Have you ever done something wrong, and had a terrible guilty conscious about it? Something which really hurts you in your heart, and you feel awful about it?
Perhaps telling a small lie- so as not to hurt a friend or cheating on a game/test, or one of a hundred different things we can do which are not in God's will. Each time we do the same act over again, it becomes less painful, just as
my blister had. As we repeat the wrong thought or action, we may look for
secular or even peer support to protect us against the hurt in our heart which is saying, "this is WRONG". That may buffer our conscious, and lead us to totally callousness.
When we feel nothing, and can repeatedly do wrong in God's eye, we have given ourselves what God calls a hardened heart. AMEN!!

It is just like that callous on my heal eventually you feel no regret or no sense of evil as you continue down your path of wrongdoing. It is a terrible thing when the heart becomes hardened, because then love can not penetrate it.
We must all be on guard to listen to that little voice within us that tells us when we do something wrong.
That voice is called The Holy Spirit, and He will help us stay out of the terrible rut of hard heartedness.

My brothers, take care that there is not by chance in any one of you an evil heart without belief, turning away from the living God:
But give comfort to one another every day as long as it is still Today; so that no one among you may be made hard by the deceit of sin:
For if we keep the substance of the faith which we had at the start, even till the end, we have a part with Christ;
As it is said, Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart.

Please, also if you should need some toilet paper for a booboo like this please
put some neosporin or vaseline on, I think it hurt worst when I peeled the paper off.

Have a great week & be Blessed

Risk or Risky Are You Willing??

To have hope we must take risks. To have hope we must take action. To have any outcome worthwhile we must take risks.

When you really think about it, our every action is at risk because there aren’t any guarantees. What I’ve learned is that the more risks we take, no matter how small, you’ll accumulate enough faith in yourself to plow through most challenges life offers every single day!
Let’s talk about risk. You will risk an awful lot to act on the things that are most important to you. If someone you love were drowning, you might risk your life to save him or her. Or if you believe strongly in justice, you might risk ridicule to stand up for someone who is being treated unfairly. All risks,…reaching out, testing yourself, trying new things, accepting challenges- involve putting your values on the line.

Sometimes the greatest risk may not be climbing the steepest mountain or sailing around the world, alone. It may be more risky to tell someone you care about that you are lonely, or to say, I’m sorry. There are many kinds of risks in life,….emotional, and physical. The IMPORTANT ones are those that help you grow and express your values.

Here are risks we should learn to take in order to challenge ourselves and discover who we really are. For example:

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool. (so what!)

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. (do it anyway!)

To reach out for another is to risk involvement. (Go for it!)

To expose feelings is to risk rejection. (Know where you stand!)

To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule. (Who cares? Its’ your life!)

To love is to risk not being loved in return. (Its’ a two way street!)

To live is to risk dying. (Its’ inevitable!)

To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure. (Can you imagine if all the great leaders didn’t?)

Remember, that risks must be taken because the greatest tragedy in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing to look forward to, therefore is nothing. Oh yeah,…you may avoid some suffering and sorrow, but you can’t learn, feel, change, grow or love.

Only a person who risks is free!!! God Knows when you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts... God knows how hard you have tried. When you've cried so long and your heart is in anguish... God has counted your tears. If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by... God is waiting with you. When you're lonely and your friends are too busy even for a phone call... God is by your side. When you think you've tried everything and don't' know where to turn... God has a solution. When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated... God has the answer.
If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope... God has whispered to you. When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for... God has blessed you. When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe... God has smiled upon you. When you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow... God has opened your eyes and called you by name.
Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing.
God Knows
