God's Seed Is Growing

Ready To Plant My Seeds In My Garden
I have started my garden, and Wow,,, is this the best time to talk with the Lord. The Lord really likes to talk to me when I get in these alone times. I began thinking about the seeds that I was about to plant, Natural seeds are amazing things…amazing representations of how I work in You! “It is amazing how he just chats along to me,” They, unlike Me, are so tiny, yet they are full of potential and life giving nutrients. How much more then am I in you? Ohhhh I felt my knees shaking as I was digging up dirt and flipping it over, Blisters getting bigger on my hands and the sweat just pouring off of me.
Natural seeds are full of abundance and governed by the law of multiplication. They have the power to produce and feed millions upon millions with the necessary things need to promote and build the basic building blocks of natural life.
The greatest power of the seed is its ability to produce fruit over and over and over again. Seeds bear fruit and the fruit bears more seeds…ahh…the cycle goes on and on producing and multiplying just the way it should be. Seeds in the hands of good caretakers do indeed provide the basic building blocks of life. Seeds discarded, thrown away or uncared for make way for wrong seeds…make way for weed seeds to flourish to the extent they ultimately overtake the environment. Seeds, both good and bad have potential to multiply…to overtake…to consume the surroundings they are in. Therefore, be careful what you throw away…be careful what you plan. Brad and I were at Walmart and where we parked was by there garbage area, and they were throwing away racks of seeds, so Brad and I gathered all we could hold, flowers and herbs and vegetables.

Know this, your words are seeds in their own right. What you do with your words matters. Do you rehearse and speak negative word seeds? If so, you are giving them the nutrients they need to multiply their essence of death, doubt and unbelief in your heart. In other words, speaking wrong word seeds gives the seeds all the sun, water and fertilize they need to choke out hope…choke out life. Concentrating on and speaking wrong thoughts, which should be taken captive, creates a destructive crop which yields much more than was sewn…which yields not only fruit but more seed of like kind. It is the law of the seed.

Beloved, we have established that I dwell in you and that you must abide in Me. The gift of salvation you received brining about the death of your old sin nature…your old Adam has created good soil in which to plant good seed. You are no longer an uninhabitable, wild and rebellious field. You are a field rooted and grounded in love…grounded in the soil of salvation. The time has come to recognize fully who you are now that I, the Eternal Seed, have translated you from one kingdom to another…from darkness to Light…from a habitation of bad seed to the Kingdom of good seed.
I, the Good Gardener, know the value of good seed for I am the Seed of Life given to all that they might bear fruit as they abide in Me and I abide in them. I, the Seed of Life, dwell in you with a richness that has the ability to multiply and increase as you water all I am in you with the Word. In turn your field (your soul and all its hurts, wounds and sufferings) is cleansed by the washing of the water of the Word.

Beloved, I, the One Amazing Seed, dwelling forever in you have changed your life and now the seeds of My Word will continue to do so. The Word sown in the good soil of your heart will be heard by you…grasped by you and comprehended by you until it bears fruit and yields harvests of thirty, sixty and one-hundred fold Matthew 12:23. Root yourself in Me and fruit will grow upward to enrich your own life and the lives of others. My Word is good seed…

And the remnant that has survived of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward (2 Kings 19:30) AND THERE shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David's father], and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit (Isaiah 11:1)
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown upon the ground, is the smallest of all seeds upon the earth, Yet after it is sown, it grows up and becomes the greatest of all garden herbs and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air are able to make nests and dwell in its shade (Mark 4:30-34)
You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you (I have planted you), that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting (that it may remain, abide), so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name (as presenting all that I AM), He may give it to you (John 15:16)

Father, Thank You once again for choosing me…for choosing that I may grow and bring forth much fruit. As seeds in the natural realm are full of potential and life giving nutrients, the seeds You have placed in me have the same. You are the Great Seed…the Great I Am and You dwell in me.
Lord, as I meditate on Your Word and the watering of Your word in my garden, Your seeds of life, purpose and destiny will flourish bringing life to all those around me. I realize my words have the potential to multiply and bring forth fruit both good and bad. Help me to remember to take captive all my negative thoughts and words which have the power to multiply and bear unrighteous fruit. I praise You for the gift of salvation and the reality that You took me out of the kingdom of darkness and brought me into the Kingdom of light, so that I can bring forth good fruit. I declare that I will bear good fruit for my heart and soul is grasping a hold of the truth of God’s Word. I am rooted and grounded in the soil of salvation…in the soil of love and I grow upward.
Amen

Great post, Sharon! I thought of that quote that says..."We can see how many seeds are in an apple...but only God can see how many apples are in a seed."

Seeds are amazing for sure. This made me think of the faith of a mustard seed. When I was moving, I came across a little jewelry box. You the kind that flips open. This one was old as I could tell by the "material" covering it. It was tiny...much smaller than what is typically used these days. I don't have a clue where it came or what came in it. I opened it to find...a tiny mustard seed. I know display it in my curio cabinet with the jewelry lid open. It's an awesome reminder that is all the faith I need...that of a mustard seed...and God can grow it and make it much much more.

Whenever I am planting I always think about the story of the mustard seed. It was the one that Paula mentioned.

Series can be written on seed and sowing. I'm so incredibly blessed in your sharing with us dear sister. You are a seed sower with your warm words and caring heart.

I did a message that definitely lines up with our words sown on my fitness blog this morning and how words can HURT others so when you said: "Know this, your words are seeds in their own right." you are SO RIGHT!

Love you much.

Your posts always bless me. I have a baggy taped to the calendar on my wall where my computer is. In it are 6 mustard seeds. At Golden Couples one night the Pastor talked about faith as small as a mustard seed and how that is enough faith to believe for anything God can do. These were at our plates at the dinner table that night. Yes we need to sow more seed to harvest more souls for the Kingdom of God.

My husband and his brother went to see a friend today who has a 4th degree burn on his body. My brother-in-law said he didn't know if he knew Jesus or not and I told him to ask him. They led him in the sinner's prayer and later heard that he told a member of his family that he had gotten saved today.
One small question, "do you know Jesus" led to the salvation of a soul with
4th degree burns. Our prayers now are that God will heal him.
God is so good.
Blessings,
AliceE.

Hi Sharon! Thoughtful post...I love how God uses the natural to confirm the spiritual-He knows we will really get the message that way.
Seeds are beautiful to look at, and each one so unique to its kind.
What an awesome Creator we have-that can contain a plant, a fruit, a tree in one tiny seed!

Love ya, Debra

Sharon, thanks for stopping by today-I thought about you on yesterday and realized I hadn't visited you and another friend lately- life has just been busy- but I am glad I was able to find my way here today a wonderful and very thought provoking message for me. I must ensure I am always allowing Gods' good seed planted in me to shine forth bearing more good fruit. There are moments unfortunately, even today as I think back I didn't do a good job of planting a good seed. Thanks so much for this word. Blessings and have a great weekend.

Amen Sis,
Working in the garden we can find revelation and wisdom. I don't have space to have a garden so I do potted plants, and it just makes me realize how helpless some of my plants are without me watering and tending to them, pruning etc. Just like we need the Lord to feed and water our spirit with his word. Thank for a wonderful post!!!

This post was great!
Isn't it amazing how He speaks to us through His creation?
Sometimes you just have to kill those weed seeds or they destroy the thing which He is trying to create.
We are His garden created in Christ Jesus to bring glory to the Father!
Great post girl!
He is Faithful!

My son would so agree with you. He love to be out working in the flowers and veggies he has planted. He finds such fascination in watching things grow and is constantly commenting on how God makes things grow.

I do a lot of praying when I am out in the garden, but it mostly that I won't see snakes.

So nice to see so many of you. I haven't had much time to blog in awhile. I so appreciate garden analogies and seed applications! I've raised mustard for many years and the biggest attribute is it's ability to quickly spread. To me, it's a reminder that faith will multiply, when we plant it, (speak, meditate on the word) Blessings as your faith is multiplied today!

Greetings! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?

I'm getting fed up of Wordpress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Feel free to visit my webpage: cityofkenora.ca

Definitely imagine that that you said. Your favourite justification seemed to be at the internet the simplest thing to take into account of.
I say to you, I definitely get irked even as folks consider worries that they plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as outlined out the entire thing with no need side effect , folks can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
