Friendship

John 15:13;17
13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17This is my command: Love each other.

Have you ever found a friend who makes your heart glow?
Someone who is wonderful, who you're honored to know, Someone to laugh with, and sometimes to cry, Someone who loves you when you don't know why.

Someone who just seems to understand you, Someone who you love no matter what they do, Someone who you think of day and night, Someone who shows up when the time is just right.

Someone who shares all your ups and downs, Someone you smile with, replacing your frowns, Someone who appears whenever there is a need, Surely you must know, God planted that seed!!

These seeds God has planted here on earth, Cannot be measured by earthly worth.
They were planted deeply in your friend's heart, By God's love placed here from the start.

Value those friendships, honor their decisions, Learn from them, Never try to make their dreams your revisions, Respect their feelings, never make demands, Hold their love tightly in your hands.

Never be angry if you don't talk to them each day, For a heart can be loving even from far away. Trust in friendship, send a piece of your heart, This is how friendship was intended from the start.

Hold their memory in your heart and mind, Continue to love them all the time,
See them for what they really are - True friends are Angels sent by God from afar!

Isn't it so awesome that he is our friend, that he will never leave us, always there by our side, through thick or then.. What a friend we have in Jesus!!
Those of you reading my blog right now, I consider you a true friend. God Bless all of you!!!!!!!!!!

Sharon, I value your friendship. You are a true friend.

I have a prayer request. I didn't know where to put it but I have faith in your prayers. I am having a cataract taken off my right eye tomorrow morning. Everyone tells me it's a very easy surgery, but I would feel better knowing someone was praying for me.
May God bless you,
AliceE.

Sharon,
Thank you for your prayers. I can't believe I'm actualy reading and typing this. The technique for this type of surgery has changed so much. The doctor that did my surgery was great and he even prayed with me before I went in. I knew he was a Christian because he used to come to our church. He and his nurse were so thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable before he started since I have a rod in my neck and 3 in my back.

Hi Sharon:
You are such an encourager and such a blessing to others. Friendship is such a great blessing some take time -others are instant - some are for a season- others are life long...the great thing is when we share Jesus we can be friends throughout all eternity.

Thanks for your comments on my blog.
My eye is doing okay I guess. I see the optometrist on the 29th. When he feels that the right eye is healed then we will do the left eye.

Sharon, thanks for visiting my blog. Isn't it great to meet new friends? Through my time at home with my illness God has blessed me with many "imaginary friends", as my kids call them. I do not know where I would be without my blogging buddies. Glad to have met a new one!!

I just talked to a dear friend of mine yesterday that I've known for 25 years. She was so glad I called as we needed to do some catching up with each other.

So glad you'll be doing the YES to GOD Tuesday study of "Behind Those Eyes"! I think God is going to do some really awesome things with all of us!
Have a great end of this week!
Blessings,
Lelia

Just dropping by to say Hi! thank you for your kind words and prayer...the newsletter is in it's final draft and awaiting the final approval before we "go to press" with our very first edition...the breakfast is running into "glitches"...we are praying and pressing through...It finally feels like autumn(I know that it is not officially autumn yet)- I just love the fall...one of the major reasons we returned to new york was the four seasons(so while it is not the four seasons of memory) I will enjoy every fall type day we get and try really hard not to complain during the really cold or really hot days...I certainly hope the temps I enjoy in the natural (not too hot-not too cold) are not a reflection of my spiritual temp...
Have a great week-end.
In His Love,
Debrah
