Thankful Thursday

First and foremost I want to Thank God that he EXISTS !! Amen
If it wasn't for him we would not be where we are today, We wouldn't have the things we have, It is because of him. Lord, I have so much to be thankful for, things unseen and seen, that You have done in my life. Lord, mostly I am thankful for the relationship that I have with You. Lord, You initiated this relationship, by what Your Son endeavored to accomplish, paying the price for my sin, redeeming and reconciling me.
You know the times I have been ungrateful, held ill thoughts toward You and my fellow friends. You know the times I complain and grumble about life and its circumstances, about suffering, going through what seem like endless trials and tribulations.
Yet, God You are and always will be there with me, even when it seems like I am forever in the wilderness, running further and further from You, You, my God are there guiding me back to Your loving arms. And for this I am so greatful/thankful!

Thankful for the decisions that You allow me to make and the lessons that come from these decisions. And You are always by my side.
I’m thankful, Lord, that I do not have to live under condemnation anymore, that You have truly set me free, that I am a new creation that I need not live under the law anymore. Thankful Lord that You have given me joy unspeakable. Thankful Lord that You are longsuffering, allowing me to mature in You!

Lord, words do not express my thankfulness. For Your mighty power is at work in me, transforming me, renewing my mind. Thank You Lord!!

OOHHH Lord I Praise Youuuuuu, I Thank You my Lord!!!!!!!

This reminds me of the Believing God study...
We learned to praise God by saying..
I praise You because You are Who You say you are. And You can DO What You say You can do.
I praise You because I am who You say I am, and I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength.
I praise you because your word is alive and active in me.

Sharon, Your posts have ministered to me today. I've read most of them I think but the one about Proverbs and being righteous in His site gave me an answer I had been seeking. I have prayed that prayer over my grandchildren and a nephew. The nephew especially needs the prayer and I'm believing God will answer my prayers.
Thank you for sharing your heart,
AliceE.

Amen!:)

I am currently reading "The Shack," and many of the thoughts that you shared in this post, remind me of the part of the book that I just read yesterday.
There is a part in the book where Jesus teases the main character of the book about his grumbling and complaining. It is so touching, because He just loves us. Grumbling, complaining, and all...He loves us!

Have a great weekend, Sharon!
God Bless,
Amy:)

Thank you Sharon another encouraging post. I have been guilty of being thankful in hindsight...your post reminds us to be thankful in and out of season...in all circumstances...

Hi Sharon,
Thank you for this. I am guilty of grumbling and so often thank Him way later than I should for something. I'm so thankful we don't have to live with condemnation. We are free because of His blood.
Love ya,
Debra

Hi Nicole:
I visited the team sarah site and there was a prayer request (I believe it was on the prayer warrior group)
Anyway the request is that we pray ps.27 everyday until the election for Sarah Palin and request that others who are praying for Sarah will do the same...I am going to copy and paste this so I don't have to keep typing...
In His Love,
Debrah
