Happy New Year

My husband and I would like to wish You and your Families a Blessed and Prosperous New Year. May the Lord Bless you and keep you!
May the Lord let His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! May the Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!

And may you all have a Blessed, healthy and Happy New Year.
Lets chat about Resolutions!!
It's that time of year again where we make promises we often don't keep in effort to improve ourselves (or others) in one way or another. Every year I think about what I'm going to challenge myself to accomplish. Some people decide to join a workout or weight loss program and others think about getting their finances in order. I know there are many who plan to read the whole Bible in a year as well. There are countless things to commit to doing or changing.
This year I really hope will be different for most. I think the best way to make your New Year's resolution come to fulfillment is to start now instead of after the first of the year. I've started working on mine. My one set goal is indeed, for a new "me"!! Yes you read that right. I have a big birthday coming up next year and would like to have a new look to go with my new perspective on life (what God has been showing me in the Word). I would like a new hairdo, to lose some pounds, tan my skin since my current complexion is kind of pasty looking right now.

As I think about fresh new starts, I think back to conversations I've had with others over the years about "clean slates". Maybe as this New Year approaches, you recognize you're not the person you really want to be. Maybe you're ready for a change in your attitude or your actions. Whatever it is you decide, don't look at it as a year long commitment or a far set goal; take it one day at a time and seek the Lord in how He would form you as you allow Him. Decide today what kind of person you want to be from now on.

"Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1)
"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell and make a profit'; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." (James 4:13-14)
Give up complaining . . . focus on gratitude.
Give up harsh judgments . . . think kind thoughts.
Give up worry . . . trust divine providence.
Give up discouragement . . . be full of hope.
Give up bitterness . . . turn to forgiveness.
Give up hatred . . . return good for evil.
Give up anger . . . practice patience.
Give up pettiness . . . put on maturity.
Give up gloom. . . enjoy the beauty that is around me.
Give up gossiping . . . control my tongue.

Make the most of today! May God bless your New Year as you seek His direction.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of YOU!

This is my Thankful Thursday, and my Thanks to my God.
First and foremost I am THANKFUL that God EXISTS!!

With my heart filled with gratitude, I thank You, my God.
I am Thankful for all my Bloggy friends, I am so grateful for all that are in my life. The Blog friendships I have met, Lord the ones that share there journeys to you, and to me, I am Thankful for.

In sharing, I find that my happiness expanded and my sorrow lightened, for this blessing, I am truly grateful.

I rejoice God that Your Son, Jesus, has called each of us from the position of servants to the honor of being His friend. We know this is not a religion, that this is a relationship with you God. And that you Love us unconditionally.
I am thankful for each new challenge, because it will build my strength and character. I am thankful for all my mistakes, they teach me valuable lessons.
I am thankful when I get tired and weary, because it means he has made a difference in me. It's easy to be thankful for the good things. But I am more Thankful for my set backs because these just bring me closer to my Lord, I am most Thankful for.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.
Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses.

Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes.

Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your health instead of your wealth; Count on God instead of yourself.

I would like to wish all of my Friends here a Blessed Thanksgiving!
Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
Psalm: 147;7

Autumn leaves are falling,
Pretty colors everywhere.
Thanksgiving day is almost here,

Another day that we may share.

The things we take for granted
Are blessings from above.
The needs He has provided,
Were given to us in love.

Let's give thanks for what we have,
Bow our heads and together pray.
As we join our friends and family,
On this Thanksgiving Day.
I Love You All!

God & The Radio

Well my husband did it, he was on the radio, sending out a special message to everyone and anyone that was listening. Saturday at 4:00pm he got the phone call asking him to come and preach on the radio. I was taking a nap and he came and woke me up with his news, so of course I felt his excitement and had to get up.
After I had some ice tea and woke up, YEP that song came to mind, "On the Radio whoooaa, On the Radio" some of you may know that song. He laughed at me!
Of course neither of us could sleep Saturday night and we were up early Sunday morning, Brad worked on his message all night Saturday, talking with the Lord, till he got it all together. It was a hour and 1/2 drive we had to be there by 9:00am.
Brad's friend wanted to go, he was excited and was at our house at 7am.

This was all arranged by God!

It was AWESOME, what a wonderful experience! People were touched by his message, It was on "Unconditional Love" He had callers calling in loving his message and saying they could feel the anointing through the Radio.
It touched one man so much (he was a pastor) that when it was over he went into his room and cried for 30 minutes they said.
The other guy you see here his name is Sammy he translated everything to Spanish, even he was feeling the Anointing because he stopped several times, and one time he was actually crying. What a wonderful man of God Sammy is.

After we left there we went had some breakfast and off we went to another church where the anointing was so strong and the praying went till 4:30pm.... Whewwww Praise God.
It was a God filled, God Filling, Awesome Day! And we give God allllll the Glory and Praise. AMEN!! This is just the beginning of many Blessed opportunities coming our way.

I Heard The Lord

I would love to tell you the story of how I really felt the Lord in my life. When You know, that you know, that you know!! Before Brad and I got married, I took on a second job I had bills to the ceiling from 2 major surgery's, and I really felt as though I was drowning in them. I have worked very hard to build and establish myself, and I didn't want to ruin my credit. So I found this job and it started out kinda part time and ended up full time, the money was fantastic, better than my day job, but my day job had better everything else. So finally I had some extra money after paying on my bills and I had not bought anything for myself in a while. I asked Brad and his son if they wanted to run to Walmart, but they were interested in a movie they were watching, so I said I would be back. I bought the necessities I needed. I was a good girl!! haha
I was heading home and approached a traffic light, have you ever pulled up to a light that would normally be 2 to 3 minutes and it ended up being at least 5-feeling like 10 minutes? Well I was at that light.

There came up to the light was a man, the sun beaming in my face, he was in a wheelchair, alittle old man and he had a little tiny dog in his lap sitting so proudly in his owners lap. Now he wheeled his way across the street, I kept praying that the light would not change so that he could get across. "Yes" I said to myself.
he made it! As I continued to watch him I noticed he had what it looked like a fishing pole attached to his chair, one of those ones you can pull apart. well he was rolling through all these rocks, struggling at times, using the object to pick up cans, everytime he got a can the dog would bark and jump around on his lap. ******Please note that light is still RED****** Why?????? HMMMM And then the light turned green ---- the guy behind me honked. As I drove off the Lord started speaking to me, go back talk to him, You have money to give him, go back, he needs you, he needs your help, give him money, I placed him in front of you go back,go back,go back. I kept driving, and his voice got louder and louder, and all of a sudden my vehicle went off the road this huge dust cloud was all around my vehicle, I said ok Lord, I'll go back. I went back and there he was, I pulled up close to him and said hi, he mumbled hi, I said your doggie is cute. He thanked me! I said I have something for you, I reached in my purse and every dollar I had there must of been 50 to 75 dollars I handed to the man, he looked up at me and told me NO, he doesn't need money, I said yes please you are picking up cans I know you need this, he said no I have money, I said "God says you need this". He stopped what he was doing and Thanked me, held his hand out and excepted it. When he reached out I looked at his hands, they were so full of arthritis he was sooooo dirty, clothes looked like they were older than him, the doggie looked like he had not eaten in along time too, and it needed a serious bath. But it gave me kisses and it was sweet. I asked him if he lived around in the area, and he said down the street.
He again looked up at me and said "God said give me the money" I said Yes sir. He said Thank you again, I told him God Bless. As I drove away, God said Well Done.
Trust me I cried all the way home, I walked in and Brad and Nick looked at me wanting to know what was wrong, They didn't know if something happened to me or what. So I told them and as I was telling them I could not stop crying, Brad was so excited this happened to me. He told me the Lord is working on your Heart. I cried for a couple of weeks. Do you know that I make it appoint to go by that corner as often as I can.
I pray for this man everyday!
I can tell you today that I KNOW,THAT I KNOW,THAT I KNOW when I hear from my Lord!
I was so humbled that day, I learned patience that day, I learned obedience, I learned to trust in my Lord, I learned so much. My Lord is REAL! After that I have been on Fire for the Lord, wanting to spread the Gospel, Share is word!

I Got To Go!!

Yes I got go to the Joyce Meyers conference. It was absolutely wonderful!!
Darlene from Hillsong were the worship singers, and the anointing was soooo strong.
They started singing "Potters Hand" I could feel the Holy spirit moving. Tears were flowing down my cheeks, my friends, and everyone I could see. These next few pictures are my new friends that I met, as soon as I sat down. What beautiful people you meet at these conferences.

I have to tell you though, first Joyce spoke for a moment and then she paused, and when she paused I couldn't help myself everything seemed so quiet and I yelled out to her "I LOVE YOU JOYCE" She looked right at me and told me she loves me too!
She has gave me so many messages, and I have learned so much from her teachings, I just had to tell her. And the entire place started appaulding.
Through her teachings she just tells you like it is. Either you will receive or not, it's your choice!
Because I had to work I could not attend all the conferences, but trust me when I tell you how BLESSED I feel to have been able to go to one.

Hope you are having a blessed weekend too!

Who are You???

I want to tell you about something that happened to me in Wal-mart. I had to go to Wal-Mart to take back a braclet I had bought my Beautiful Mom for her birthday, the crazy thing just fell apart on her. So when we got there we looked around a-bit, and when we finally decided, we needed some help, we started looking around for sales associate.
Well I noticed there was a man standing there in line by the register, so my mom stood behind him. I went around the cases and this lady working there just was ignoring everyone, and unloading watches.
I walked up to her and asked "if she could please help us," she said, "I will be with you in a minute!" Yes I got the dirty look and attitude of why are you bothering me.
Whyyyy be Ugly--right!

Well she finally came around towards the register, knowing there is a man standing there, she looks over his shoulder and says to me, "Can I help you" (same attitude). I told her the man was first, she said "Thats ok, can I help you!" Well Look you know I cannot stand when someone treats a elder wrong, this makes me soooo mad, and I can forget that I am a Christian reallll quick!
You know what if she was treating my MOM this way!!!!!! right!!

BUT LISTEN,,,,, WHAT IF THIS WAS MEEEEEEEEE AND I AM THIS MAN AT THIS AGE,
WOULD IT BE FAIR FOR HER TO IGNORE ME, heck NOOOOOOOOO!! And I pray there are more of Me'sssss out there. I looked at her and I said very calm, very polite this man is before me and he needs help, she sucked her teeth and stood there, I looked at this man and said what do you need help with honey, Well guess what he was deaf, this poor old man is deaf, he needed a new watch band for his watch and didn't know how to pick one out..

I looked up at this lady and said he needs a watch band, this poor sweet man
needs a watch band, and the tears started pouring from my eyes, Not only could I see this poor man, but I seen my Mom standing there, I then I saw my self standing there.

I helped this man pick out a watch band, my mom wrapped her arm around my arm, and when I looked at this lady with tears flowing down my cheeks, she then changed her tune, and I said please help me put this on for him, and I will help pay this for him as well. She immediately got the tools out and fixed it. We went through about 5 or 6 bands till we found the perfect one, the one he was picking out was like $3.00but when all was said and done, we got him one for $14.00. Even my Mom got so involved she wanted to pay for it. The Man had this look about him, he looked like he had a heart of gold, so kind, never hurt anybody. He was so excited, he smiled this beautiful smile at me, he Loved the band, he seemed so excited to have his watch on again.

You know I bet this woman is a Christian, I bet she Loves Jesus Christ.
But why not the same Love for this man. Let me ask you a question, would you step in and help a elder, do you pay enough attention to them that they are not forgotten?

I have a passion for older folks, I really do. But mostly I see these elders and I see myself, I SEE MYSELF! I know when I am even driving down the road and I see a elderly person that is going alittle to slow, I can't help but to give them a break.
We are all in a big hurry, sometimes it's good to stop and smell the roses.
But mostly take time look around, share the Love. He shares with us!

After the man put the watch on he was so excited, He thanked me and thanked me.
I looked down to get the reciept out of my purse, and was going to invite the
man to have a hamburger with us and he was gone. I ran through to the exits
looked around and he was gone! I went back to the counter and the lady said
"Thank You & I'm Sorry" I shrugged it off and said I am so glad "WE" were able
to help him.

I Thanked the Lord for the opportunity to be the one standing there, not
only to help this man, but maybe to put some Love in this lady's heart as well.
I looked at her and said God Bless. Can you see YOU????????? Are you the man,
are you the lady, or are you me for the day?

God Bless

I have another story to share with you, next time, this one really got me
so fired up with Lord!! Be a Blessing Today, Tomorrow, Forever!!

Thankful Thursday :)

First,First,First I again want to Thank God that he exists!! Amen!

Lord, there are marvelous things that I do not know, nor can I comprehend.
Lord, things that happen in my life, and things that happen in my friends lives.
Lord, I desire to be thankful, to appreciate everything that comes across my path.
Lord, so often life hurts, I get angry -- upset, I do not understand, yet Lord You ask me to be thankful for everything, and have faith – Thank You.

Lord, help me to be thankful, when the rains come on the just and the unjust, that You care so much about me, that You build character and godliness in me, to be a mirrored reflection of Your Son to reach others.

Lord, I Thank You for mercy, for the hunger for righteousness, for forgiveness, for purity, for providing for my needs.

Lord, I Thank You for prayer, That I can come before You and call You Father.
That I can cast my burdens on You.
Lord, I Thank You for my heart, the treasure and light You placed in there the Holy Spirit.

Lord, help me to endeavor, to be Thankful for everything.
Lord, it seems most of the time, what happens is about me.
Lord, I Thank you that You gently remind me that the things are not about me, however, my life and what happens is more about You, Your will, and Your Kingdom.

Lord, I Thank You, I praise You. Lord, in You do I find strength and courage to go on.
Lord, I Thank You for the author and finisher of my faith, Jesus Christ and that in You is hope everlasting.

Lord, I Thank You for the blood of Jesus, Your precious lamb.
Thank You Lord God!

In Jesus name, Amen!

Glad Over You

Paul encourages me to continue pressing forward, into the Glory and Presence of God. When everything looks bleak from a physical standpoint, I must know that God is at WORK, preparing me through the Holy Spirit for something much greater, surpassing anything I can presently comprehend.

2 Corinthians 4: 17-18
For our present trouble, which is only for a short time, is working out for us a much greater weight of glory;
While our minds are not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are for a time; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The more time that I spend in the Presence of God, I am assured to receive the Comfort and Strength to face the many trials of life. In Christ, these present discomforts we face, are but a foretaste of the Joy and Peace that we will soon experience.
Moments spent in the Praising and Worship of God, build upon the foundation that is laid by Jesus, and there is nothing else which can SUSTAIN us when the storms come against us.

Through his own life, Paul shares the details of those physical storms that came against him, yet he was never discouraged in the knowledge that God was at WORK, preparing something greater through those times. Just as I know that God is working on me and and I know something great is coming my way.
We also face many obstacles that attempt to hinder our focus of what God is WORKing to accomplish through us, yet we must diligently press forward despite the hardship.

Lord, YOUR Voice speaks loudly of Victory, mine to attain through Christ who refreshes me! As YOU move in the wind that brings change, steer me like a rudder with YOUR Truth I pray!!

Zep. 3:17
The Lord your God is among you, as a strong saviour: he will be glad over you with joy, he will make his love new again, he will make a song of joy over you as in the time of a holy feast.

YOU keep me safe from the snares that are set, with a HOPE that fills my heart and never fails!!!
My weeping will soon be turned to laughter, through my Joyful tears will I see YOU Glorified!
YOU dwell in the hearts of all YOUR people, guiding us by YOUR Everlasing Way of LIFE!

I have to tell you this, this must be confirmation! Because when I did my Thankful thursday, then on Sunday I read this scripture it all coinsides. There is something great coming, Do you believe you have something Great coming?? Wouldn't You like something New and refreshing?

Amen!!!

Thankful Thursday

First and foremost I want to Thank God that he EXISTS !! Amen
If it wasn't for him we would not be where we are today, We wouldn't have the things we have, It is because of him. Lord, I have so much to be thankful for, things unseen and seen, that You have done in my life. Lord, mostly I am thankful for the relationship that I have with You. Lord, You initiated this relationship, by what Your Son endeavored to accomplish, paying the price for my sin, redeeming and reconciling me.
You know the times I have been ungrateful, held ill thoughts toward You and my fellow friends. You know the times I complain and grumble about life and its circumstances, about suffering, going through what seem like endless trials and tribulations.
Yet, God You are and always will be there with me, even when it seems like I am forever in the wilderness, running further and further from You, You, my God are there guiding me back to Your loving arms. And for this I am so greatful/thankful!

Thankful for the decisions that You allow me to make and the lessons that come from these decisions. And You are always by my side.
I’m thankful, Lord, that I do not have to live under condemnation anymore, that You have truly set me free, that I am a new creation that I need not live under the law anymore. Thankful Lord that You have given me joy unspeakable. Thankful Lord that You are longsuffering, allowing me to mature in You!

Lord, words do not express my thankfulness. For Your mighty power is at work in me, transforming me, renewing my mind. Thank You Lord!!

OOHHH Lord I Praise Youuuuuu, I Thank You my Lord!!!!!!!

Faith

There are many types of problems within our families. But the Word addresses them all. Whatever the problem, whatever the need, no matter how great the stress or distress, God has the solution in His Word. His Word is complete. All we as Christians have to do is believe what God's Word says and act on it in faith. Sometimes when our problems arise we forget to pray and or use the Word of God to fight our fight. Amen!!!!

For example, if you have a child who has turned away from a godly life, then believe God's Word where it says in Proverbs 11:21, "The children of the righteous will be delivered." Take that scripture, read it, meditate on it, and act on it in faith without fear. It is true; the children of the righteous will be delivered. I have prayed this over my Step Son, and it works, yes it works. I have seen his my-space go from bloody skulls to a more professional look, He took those awful earrings out of his ears that stretch is lobe, ewww, I have watched him change dramatically.

From the beginning, Satan has deceived mankind. Second Corinthians 11:3 says that in the Garden of Eden, Eve was deceived by the serpent because of Satan’s craftiness. In other words, he was cunning, deceptive and he was a liar.

Jesus said in John 8:44 that Satan is a liar and that there is no truth in him. Today, Satan has not changed and his methods are still the same. When we take the scriptures and stand on them in faith, Satan immediately tries to twist and distort the Word in such a way that it will become ineffective in our lives.

When we say, "The Word says the children of the righteous will be delivered, and I believe it and stand on it in faith," Satan immediately says, "That's right. The Word is true. The children of the righteous will be delivered. But you're not righteous. Remember when you...." And so Satan sows his lie. What he says sounds logical, but it is still a lie.

The truth is, we who have accepted Jesus as there Lord and Savior are righteous. We are not righteous because of anything we have done but because of what He has done. The blood of Jesus removes our sins and we are clean.
It's grace.
It's unmerited favor.
It's a gift of God.

Galatians 2:21 says, “If righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” We cannot do anything to become righteous other than just simply accept Jesus into our hearts. Works will never be good enough.

If Satan can get us to believe we are not righteous, then when we take the Word that says "The children of the righteous will be delivered," we will not believe it applies to us. Without belief there is no faith. Without faith we will not expect results, and we will get what we expect. Nothing! We must believe the truth and act in faith. Then we will be delivered.

Proverbs 20:7 says that the children of the righteous will be blessed. So, not only will our children be delivered, but they will be blessed.

As Christian parents, we must believe what God’s Word says about our children. So, when Satan whispers into your thought realm and says your children will be destroyed, don’t repeat his words.
Remember, he’s a liar. You must do as Jesus did when Satan spoke to him.
Say, “It is written. The children of the righteous will be delivered.”

Remember, God does not lie. What He says He will do, He will do!!!!! What he says will happen, will happen!!!!!
If His Word says the children of the righteous will be delivered and blessed, then they will.
God is not a liar!!!!

GateWay is to the East #2

Jesus Christ will physically return to earth in vengeance on the enemies of God. Known as the “Commander of Heaven’s Armies,” Christ will appear in sky like lightning, and every eye will see Him. His feet will touch down on the Mount of Olives, on the very place from which He ascended, and thus fulfill a prophecy made almost 2,000 years by two angels on the Mount of Olives:

“After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him. As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. ‘Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!’” Acts 1:9-11

When Christ returns, He will enter Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate of the Old City walls. In so doing, He will fulfill not only the prophecy of these two angels, but in-numerable prophecies recorded by God’s prophets for the benefit of mankind.

The Eastern Gate, approximately 2,600 years ago, the prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of the Glory of the Lord:

“After this, the man brought me back around to the east gateway. Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel appeared from the east. The sound of his coming was like the roar of rushing waters, and the whole landscape shone with His glory. This vision was just like the others I had seen, first by the Kebar River and then when he came to destroy Jerusalem. I fell face down on the ground. And the glory of the Lord came into the Temple through the east gateway.” Ezekiel 43:1-4 (NLT)

Ezekiel’s vision was no ordinary vision, for He witnessed nothing less than the Glorious Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ezekiel describes in his vision what Jesus told His disciples when warning them to guard against false prophets who claim the Messiah has arrived – that he is in this place or that place. Jesus tells us not to believe such people, for when He returns, all eyes will see Him simultaneously:

“For as lightning lights up the entire sky, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.” Matthew 24:27

Ezekiel’s vision offers further details of the Lord’s Glorious Appearing:

1) He will appear from the east.
2) The sound of His coming will be like the roar of rushing waters.
3) He will enter the Temple through the eastern gateway.

The fact that the Lord Jesus Christ will once again walk through the Eastern Gate is confirmed in Ezekiel 44:

“Then the man brought me back to the east gateway in the outer wall of the Temple area, but it was closed. And the Lord said to me, “This gate must remain closed; it will never again be opened. No one will ever open it and pass through, for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered here. Therefore, it must always remain shut. Only the prince himself may sit inside this gateway to feast in the Lord’s presence. But he may come and go only through the entry room of the gateway.” Ezekiel 44:1-3

Not only does this passage reiterate certain details of the Lord’s Glorious Appearing, but it offers substantial evidence to the unbeliever that the Bible is the Word of God. Why? Because Ezekiel 44 demonstrates the astounding accuracy of bible prophecy, providing evidence that can verified firsthand by anyone who doubts.

Over 2,600 years ago, the Lord declared the Eastern Gate would be shut and would remain closed until the Messiah arrived to open it. Yet, for almost five hundred years now, it’s been closed. In this generation, the Messiah will open it.
The Eastern Gate is one of eight gates built into the walls which surround the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Eastern Gate provides the only entrance from the East, and it faces the Mount of Olives. The Eastern Gate was destroyed during the Roman conquest of Jerusalem. Fulfilling Christ’s prophecy that “not one stone will be left on top of another” Matthew 24:2. Prior to this, the Eastern Gate had never been sealed.
It’s been over 465 years since Suleiman sealed the Eastern Gate, and despite numerous well-documented attempts to open it, the gate has remained sealed just as the Lord proclaimed to Ezekiel over 2,600 years ago.

So is the sealing of the Eastern Gate merely a coincidence? Or is it a bona fide partially fulfilled bible prophecy, poised for its ultimate fulfillment on the day the Messiah comes to open it? To find the answer, we only need to examine the variousness of Ezekiel’s prophecy and compare them to the historical record. In so doing, we will learn the identity of the Prince who will open the Eastern Gate and what His doing so will mean for the world.

The first question a person might ask is why is the gate closed? In the aforementioned passage, the Lord tells Ezekiel the eastern gate must be closed because, “The Lord, the God of Israel, entered here.” Ezekiel 44:2

“The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted, ‘Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hail to the King of Israel!’ Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said: ‘Don’t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey’s colt.’ His disciples didn’t understand at the time that this was a fulfillment of prophecy. But after Jesus entered into his glory, they remembered what had happened and realized that these things had been written about him.” John 12:12-16

As this passage states, the triumphant entry of Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled an additional prophecy, one made over 500 years earlier by the prophet Zechariah.

“Rejoice greatly, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your King is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey – even on a donkey’s colt.” Zechariah 9:9

This is only one of the numerous Old Testament Messianic prophecies fulfilled in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, but if any doubt exists as to the identity of the rider on the donkey, it should be swept away two verses later when we read of God’s promise to the world.
“Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon.” Zechariah 9:11

Christ sealed this covenant with His blood on the cross not long after His triumphant entrance into Jerusalem. Because of His sacrifice, many have been freed from eternal damnation in hell (death in a waterless dungeon).

Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, the Lamb of God who wipes away the sin of the world. He is the Prince who will “sit inside this gateway to feast in the Lord’s presence” Ezekiel 44:3. Because Jesus blessed the Eastern Gate with His coming, it has been sealed shut. No man, no army, and no person but Jesus Christ Himself can open the Eastern Gate ever again. This is God’s promise.

The fact that the Eastern Gate remains closed to this day is God’s testimony to doubters throughout the world. Some have doubted the Lord until they can see Him with there own eyes and touch the scars on His body, most of the world demands physical evidence for belief. The Eastern Gate is their physical evidence. It is the testimony of Jesus Christ, and soon, it will be the stage on which the Glory of God will be revealed for all the world to see.

Is this not Awesome!

GateWay of Glory

Bible, names aren't just names - they have an underlying meaning or significance. Names often reveal something important about the nature or character of the one named and can even be a prophetic declaration of destiny. The name "Jesus," for example, means "the LORD saves." This is why the angel who foretold his birth said, "You shall call his name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21).

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name." Psalm 100:4

"Go through, go through the gates; clear the way for the people; remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. Isaiah 62:10

Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of Glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Psalms 24:7

The name, Gate Way, combines two words Jesus later used in describing Himself. In John 10:9, he said, "I am the Gate." The Greek word translated gate means "an entrance or passage into."
In this passage, Jesus uses the image of sheep going through a Gate to proclaim that He is the entrance to "green pastures," the place of safety.

In John 14:6, He uses the other part of the name: "I am the way," he proclaimed.
The Greek translation Way is hodos, which means "a traveled road," or "the avenue of a traveler's journey." So Jesus is not only the "Gate" (the entrance), he also is the road on which we travel after entering the gate to reach our full destiny in God.
The name Gateway speaks of the person and work of Christ. He is the Gate and the Way. It also reminds us of our work in the Great Commission to point people towards the Gate of Salvation and enter into a lifetime of walking in the Way of discipleship.

The Bible says
He’s the King of the Jews
He’s the King of Israel
He’s the King of Righteousness
He’s the King of the Ages
He’s the King of Heaven
He’s the King of Glory
He’s the King of Kings
and He is the Lord of Lords
He is the GateWay of Glory!!!!!!!!!

He is MY Prince of Peace............And Whom do You Call Me????

Callous~~Hardened Heart

I started back in working out, I felt it was time for me to
begin my exercise program again, now that I have healed from my surgery.
I was so enthusiastic as I laced my shoes and took off ready to conqueror.
That was, unfortunately, until I began to experience some discomfort on one
my feeties.
Well, no matter, I pressed onward with my stepping walk, enjoying the
book I was reading, trust me when I tell you it is possible to read and work
out on a machine. Before long, it really hurt and I was very aware that
something was wrong. Each step became painful and I started to slow down
as I was coming to the end of the time I had on the machine. It seems the
new walking shoes "$85.00" was not supporting my foot correctly, the ball
on the bottom of my foot felt like something was broken in there. Then because
I decided to hold my foot differently I got a blister, but I didn't want to quit. So I got me a bandaid and rolled up some toilet paper and put it on the raw spot.. No laughing at the toilet paper now, hahaha. I thought that should be plenty of protection, and went on my way. This added protection and it did help numb the pain, I couldn't feel it quite so much. I went to the drug store and bought those inserts, and it has comforted the spot on my foot, But the blister still kept bothering me a bit, and I noticed it was turning hard and callused. I realized the other day it stop hurting and I wasn't feeling anything from it. "Praise God".

Have you ever done something wrong, and had a terrible guilty conscious about it? Something which really hurts you in your heart, and you feel awful about it?
Perhaps telling a small lie- so as not to hurt a friend or cheating on a game/test, or one of a hundred different things we can do which are not in God's will. Each time we do the same act over again, it becomes less painful, just as
my blister had. As we repeat the wrong thought or action, we may look for
secular or even peer support to protect us against the hurt in our heart which is saying, "this is WRONG". That may buffer our conscious, and lead us to totally callousness.
When we feel nothing, and can repeatedly do wrong in God's eye, we have given ourselves what God calls a hardened heart. AMEN!!

It is just like that callous on my heal eventually you feel no regret or no sense of evil as you continue down your path of wrongdoing. It is a terrible thing when the heart becomes hardened, because then love can not penetrate it.
We must all be on guard to listen to that little voice within us that tells us when we do something wrong.
That voice is called The Holy Spirit, and He will help us stay out of the terrible rut of hard heartedness.

My brothers, take care that there is not by chance in any one of you an evil heart without belief, turning away from the living God:
But give comfort to one another every day as long as it is still Today; so that no one among you may be made hard by the deceit of sin:
For if we keep the substance of the faith which we had at the start, even till the end, we have a part with Christ;
As it is said, Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart.

Please, also if you should need some toilet paper for a booboo like this please
put some neosporin or vaseline on, I think it hurt worst when I peeled the paper off.

Have a great week & be Blessed

Risk or Risky Are You Willing??

To have hope we must take risks. To have hope we must take action. To have any outcome worthwhile we must take risks.

When you really think about it, our every action is at risk because there aren’t any guarantees. What I’ve learned is that the more risks we take, no matter how small, you’ll accumulate enough faith in yourself to plow through most challenges life offers every single day!
Let’s talk about risk. You will risk an awful lot to act on the things that are most important to you. If someone you love were drowning, you might risk your life to save him or her. Or if you believe strongly in justice, you might risk ridicule to stand up for someone who is being treated unfairly. All risks,…reaching out, testing yourself, trying new things, accepting challenges- involve putting your values on the line.

Sometimes the greatest risk may not be climbing the steepest mountain or sailing around the world, alone. It may be more risky to tell someone you care about that you are lonely, or to say, I’m sorry. There are many kinds of risks in life,….emotional, and physical. The IMPORTANT ones are those that help you grow and express your values.

Here are risks we should learn to take in order to challenge ourselves and discover who we really are. For example:

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool. (so what!)

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. (do it anyway!)

To reach out for another is to risk involvement. (Go for it!)

To expose feelings is to risk rejection. (Know where you stand!)

To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule. (Who cares? Its’ your life!)

To love is to risk not being loved in return. (Its’ a two way street!)

To live is to risk dying. (Its’ inevitable!)

To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure. (Can you imagine if all the great leaders didn’t?)

Remember, that risks must be taken because the greatest tragedy in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing to look forward to, therefore is nothing. Oh yeah,…you may avoid some suffering and sorrow, but you can’t learn, feel, change, grow or love.

Only a person who risks is free!!! God Knows when you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts... God knows how hard you have tried. When you've cried so long and your heart is in anguish... God has counted your tears. If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by... God is waiting with you. When you're lonely and your friends are too busy even for a phone call... God is by your side. When you think you've tried everything and don't' know where to turn... God has a solution. When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated... God has the answer.
If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope... God has whispered to you. When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for... God has blessed you. When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe... God has smiled upon you. When you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow... God has opened your eyes and called you by name.
Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing.
God Knows
